Telkom providing less than poor service

Our internet and telephone line was extremely bad and a fault was logged with Telkom. The technician came without appointment, asked at the gate about the problem and stated that he will call me from distribution box nearby to hear the quality of the line- he then goes away never to call or return - a week later when following up Telkom closed the fault without doing anything at all. This again happens for the second fault, this time making an appointment - I arrange to stay at home the whole day to wait for them, then they didn't come out and again closed the fault number without doing anything!! With the third report the technician comes out and fix the problem - the line is clear however the technician replaced a old connection box with a piece of isolation tape - two weeks later the line is now completely dead. I can't get hold of Telkom and they have not properly reacted to the complaints on the website and when I use the sms reporting method they simply state that there is already a fault registered for this line. The only Telkom person that I speak to is the marketing person whom wants to sell internet directly (the one stop solution!)... I didn't buy it...
