Service Terminated in Error and not restored

On Wednesday 9th January 2014, before I left for work that morning, I saw a Telkom Technician working at the Telkom telephone box in the neighbours yard. Later that same day, I discovered that my telephone line had been disconnected in error. I have since been trying to get Telkom to send a Technician out to restore my telephone service, but have not had any success. Each time I telephone the Call Centre, I am told the same story, that my call has been logged and a Technician would be sent out. Telkom take absolutely no responsibility for the fact that my service was disconnected in error and don't see any need to urgently attend to my complaint. This is Telkom's error, but that does not seem to matter to them at all. Telkom are treating this matter, as they treat any other termination of service. The disruption of my telephone service, leaves my property vulnerable, as my house security alarm is no longer linked to the security company in our area.
