My telephone line has been down since Saturday. I logged a fault with Telkom early Sunday morning, as they were closed on Saturday night. Since then i am still waiting for them to send someone out to repair my line. Each time you follow up, you are told you are in the queue and someone will call.
After reading some of the reviews, some people have waited up to two weeks before a technician was sent out. WHY are we left without a working phone for so long, BUT, if we do not pay our bills, TELKOM disconnects your line??? This is unacceptable, to wait days and days and could be weeks... i pay for that service!!!
There is a tracker whereby one can do a check to see how far your fault report is, but that is a joke, as it just says open... what does that even mean??? I work from home and have only the one line... Telkom needs to get more qualified staff to handle the volume work. Pathetic service!!!
