I had signed a NeoSmart 100 contract on 30 December 2013 at R99 a month for 24 months. On calling the call centre to activate, they confirmed it was R99. I receive my first statement and it reads R150 a month. I'm not even sure where they got the figure of R150 from.

On querying it, the consultant mentioned that the R99 offer was while stocks last and that there is nothing I can do about it except terminate my contract. On calling the Neotel outlet that I took the contract with, they said that they are still offering the contract at R99 so obviously stock is still available.

I read a recent complaint for exactly the same problem from a customer on 15 January 2014. The customer is being billed the same amount for the same contract and he took his contract out in November 2013.

Surely this can not be a stock problem but something with the billing department. I signed a contract for R99 and I expect the contract be honoured before this matter is taken further. What is the point of signing a contract?
