2 weeks unsolved fault

About 2 weeks ago, one of our neighbours' trees fell onto the line out the back of our house. The internet was down for 5 days before I went around to go and talk to someone at our tech support center to find out what was happening. I was told that the line needed to be replaced and that it would take about 2 weeks before contractors would be there. Then on Saturday, the contractors arrived and installed the line. They said that because of some collection of convoluted reasons they were not authorised to connect the line and that Telkom had to come around and do it. They said that a Telkom technician would be around on Sunday to fix it. Nothing yet. This fault has been around for 2 weeks. The line is there and it's just waiting for someone to come and connec it. This is unacceptable. How can it be that the line is there and we're still waiting. I've tried numerous times to contact the people at our tech support centre to find out what's going on. They've been very unhelpful. I desperately need the internet and phone for work and I can't continue without either. It's shocking that Telkom is this terrible at tech support and that the staff at our tech centre are so useless. 013751369
