Can't activate a contract even after 2 WEEKS

I honestly feel bad for some of vodacoms' employees. I think it must really working for such an useless company!
The 2nd of January 2014 my wife and I went to have our contracts renewed at vodashop Centurion Mall (bottom). I was on prepaid so I had to take out a new contract. My wife did an upgrade.
I would have thought the people there, by now, at least knew what they are doing. Turns out something so simple as an upgrade or new contract activation was way to higher grade for the folks at Vodacom! Shame!
It has now been 2 weeks and still nothing! Today, for a little while, my contract was finally active and I was connected. That soon ended around 19:30 this evening (15/01/2014).
All my attempts consulting with the customer care people ended in many promises and ZERO results.
The real funny part is the response from the CC people: "But everything looks fine on the system". Do they really think I'm just phoning for the heck of it.. I was informed by the last CC person I spoke to that it would be impossible for me to be able to contact more senior management for some answers. Does anyone know how I can reach the main peanut of the packet? Please advise. - Andy3
