Called Vodacom on Tuesday, 7 January to log a service report as I needed an additional data contract number loaded to my contract profile online. Service report number S3-04VZR-RWNAL. I received an sms when logging this call saying I would get feedback in 24 hours.

I called them again on Friday, 10 January and after being cut-off3 times and having to re-call each time, was told by Sipho that no-one has attended to this query yet. He escalated the query to their CIC back office management and told me they would provide feedback before the closed at 4pm the same day. Reference number for this call 325197138.

On Tuesday, 14 January I called Vodacom again and was told the query had been assigned to "someone", but was then placed on hold for so long that I decided to end the call - in the hope that someone from Vodacom would call me to advise on the status - to date no call received even though they have my number.

I was initially told it would take 24 hours to sort and am now sitting at a week with not one word from Vodacom! I find it ridiculous that the customer has to constantly call them, be kept on hold for so long and still not have a simple matter sorted!!
