I relocated from Durban to Jhb, tried informing Telkom of this. NEVER got through to their customer care line, and tried several times per day, on average waiting for 45 min. I obviously then had to go in physically to one of their stores to inform them of this. Standing in Q's, waiting, yet again.

My "line ownership" was with my ISP until end of Dec 2013, so telkom informed me that there was nothing they could do until the ownership had been t/f back to them. They said to phone their customer care line once this has been done. OBVIOUSLY THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE as they NEVER answer their phones. I then, once in JHB, had to again, go physically into one of their stores and inform them of the relocation.

Once informed, they said that they had done they t/f of the line to my new home but a technician would need to come activate the line. Arranging this was impossible. Technician did not come on allocated day, did not phone me. Again, tried phoning customer care, with NO success. AGAIN had to go into a store. Was informed Telkom didn't even have a contact number for me.

There is a lot more I can write.
TELKOM IS ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC. I pay for a service which is not delivered!!!
