Absolutely Pathetic service

Just moved into a new house so I ordered just a basic phone line to be installed from the Telkom Direct shop in Clearwater on the 17th October. It was arranged for the technician to come and install the line on Monday the 21st, The technician arrived on time, installed the line and said by that afternoon the line would be working. Needless to say that didn't happen. On Wedenesday the 23rd, I logged a fault on the number the technician had given me, got a ref. No. (389CRZ231013). By Monday the 28th, still no communication from Telkom, and still my line didn't work, I called the call centre, and they said they see the fault was logged and assigned to the technician, and did not know why nothing had been done, they said they would escalated the fault (no. 548985). On Wednesday the 30th I called again to follow up, as still nothing had changed and still no communication from Telkom, only to be told the same rubbish answer as before and they will now mark it as urgent. Well it is yet another day later and I am still waiting for any news from Telkom regarding my line and wondering if they will ever come and fix it. An absolute joke of a company to deal with.
