I have relocated my home address. I called Telkom In January to let them know I would be moving and discuss procedures regarding keeping my home number ad transferring my line. The consultant assured me NO rental is due while the phone is in TRANSFER mode! I have since called Telkom twice to make sure my line gets installed into my new home as soon as possible so as to change my contract (which I have been meaing to do) I was told that technician would get back to me. This was around about 18th January. Since then, I have NOT heard from a technician... I only received AN ACCOUNT for my rental of over R300 when I am NOT even using the line. I have called twice and discussed this with the accounts department who has assured me that they will re imburse me once I claim for this after my line has been installed as I should not be charged while the phone is in transfer mode. I have asked twice AGAIN for technician to call me to install the line. Today, I spoke to a lady Phaanioe, who let me know that I AM responsible for payment while the line is in transfer and that my service has been "flagged" to get an earlier installation! SURELY TELKOM does not need a MONTH to get a technician
