I upgraded my handset @ Mtn Menlyn on the 01 November 2013 and it was the Apple Iphone 5 64Gig. I used the phone for just over a month and on the 20th December the phone lost signal (couldnt read the simcard) I was advised to book it the phone for warranty assessment at the branch where I bought it with the box and all the cellphone accessories, which I did and the phone was booked in. On the 30 I phone the repairs center to find out the progress and was told that they hadnt received the handset from the outlet. After fighting with the Menlyn branch my phone was traced by the repair centre and my warranty claim was declined due to the missing headset and the charger in the box, which was booked in with the phone and the branch has confirmation thereof. When I confronted the store I was told that they needed the password of the phone but to cut the long story short this process is frustrating me because I need the phone as I use it for business and I think it is unfair for me to suffer due to the process between the branch and the repair center. I have been a loyal customer of Mtn since 2003 and have 4 contracts and I feel that I do not deserve this kind of treatment.
