STILL BEING CHARGED FOR CANCELLED CONTRACT

I have cancelled my contract in writing on 22 Oct to be effective 22 Nov 2013 (Telkom direct store didn't have the phone I wanted in my upgrade).

Yesterday I received an invoice and I am STILL BEING CHARGED for this mobile contract and now it looks as though I'm in arrears - this is bothering me as by now it should all be sorted out and CANCELLED.

Please can TELKOM do something about this???

I've emailed Telkom after calling and receiving the cancellation email address. I've tried calling Telkom a few times, but they don't know where to transfer my call to to assist, so I WALKED INTO A Telkom Direct store with my email and details of this and THE CONTRACT IS STILL UP AND RUNNING AND I AM NOT EVEN USING IT AS THE PHONE IS BROKEN!!!

I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO EXCEPT MOAN ABOUT IT IN PUBLIC NOW.

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE CANCEL MY CONTRACT AND REIMBURSE MY MONEY THAT I HAVE NICELY GONE AND OVERPAID TO KEEP MY ACCOUNT OPEN (FOR ADSL PURPOSES).
