I bought a new phone on Saturday 4 January 2014 at the game in woodlands and was assisted by a Vodacom consultant. He informed me that if I do a sim swap I would be able to retain the data bundles that he suggested I purchase before doing a sim swap worth R270. On the same day I phoned vodacom customer care and did a sim swap, the consultant over the phone also assured me that I would be able to retain the data bundles. After the sim swap the data bundles were gone! I paid R270 to Vodacom and got nothing in return! It is against the law to take money from a customer and not provide the product/service that the customer paid for! On Monday 6th Vodacom customer care had said they would phone me to sort out the problem- am still waiting for the call!
I want to be reimbursed for the data bundles, because I was assured by two Vodacom employees that I would retain them when I did the sim swap.
