At the end of September my Vodacom bill was over by R2200 and when I went to enquire I was told it's data usage on my Samsung Note II. I called the call centre on 27 October only be told that my bill for end of October was going to be over by more R4000. The data usage on my mobile reflected 700mb but Vodacom had 2.1Gigs on their system and this could not be explained. The person on the phone told me to switch off automatic update and also include data bundles to my package to reduce the cost. I added 1Gig data bundles immediately. II went to Menlyn customer care and I asked that my package be changed to smart L/M contract to reduce my expenses. And I was told this would be effective 1 November. I went to Vodacome on the 2nd November for something else only to be told that the smart M package had not being activiated and only my 1Gig data bundles was included. I asked the consultant to reinstate it. On 8 November I called Vodacom only to be told I don't have data bundles and my current charge was R2700. I am extremely appaled and outraged at the poor service I have received from incompetent Vodacom employees and I am cancelling all 5 contracts if this is not resolved urgently.
