I was due for upgrade/ cancellation from November 2013. I did nt want the contract anymore; so I wanted to cancel it. Upon trying to cancel today on the 7th January; I was told that I upgraded on the 5th November 2013. I was given the address where the handset was delivered which address is not mine. Vodacom has debited my account with R533.11 in December and now I am told that I am liable for R449 for a handset/ contarct that is not mine. I was advised that the debit will continue until the matter is sorted from their department. Why must I suffer loss due to their negligent?? Whast happened to the security questions that they normally ask? Why would they deliver to a different address as on their records?? I have since asked them to block the number because I donot want to incur anymore costs.
