Misleading contract upgrade

Hello Peter.

I upgraded my MTN anytime contract in mid-November 2013. The upgrade was for the Anytime 200, and included in it: the Samsung xCover2 smartphone, data and 200 sms' PLUS 25 bonus sms' and some more data.
With a bit of a blunder along the way, my new contract really only kicked in Mid Dec. On dialing the faithful 141 service to get a breakdown of my new contract amounts... I was SURPRISED to find that 175 of my 200 sms' were MTN to MTN only (!) And 25 were to other networks!
At NO POINT was I informed that this would be the case. It didn't specify in the booklet of upgrades, and the MTN shop where I did my upgrade did not know about it either. When I called the call center they told me it was in my contract that I signed... no it was not! I went back to the store to ask about it. The consultant told me he had also only just found out about it, via another complaint. He also said that my contract was a Standard MTN contract and did not specify ANY details on the contract terms.
Had I known this to be the case, I would have taken the much cheaper contract and instead continued to subscribe to their 200sms bundle. Can MTN please rectify this?
