Unguaranteed Call Limit??

I have a cellular contract with Nashua Mobile since 2007/8 but lately the service levels have been dwindling. The initial agreement with them was the call limit of R640-00 per month. The December bill skyrocketed to R1688 and the question that I am asking is why wasn't the call limit affected, why was it allowed to escalate to that amount? I then logged a complaint on twitter/ Nashua call centre- the person by the name of Chris Coetzee called me and explained that it was the data that made the charges to be this high, I had previously visited their centurion branch to have the data gigabytes charged to the value of R149 on monthly basis, this was to minimise the data charges to my account, seemingly this was never done and I am told that there's no proof that I have requested for this service - the service provider is being unscrupulous in charging its customers! He even told me that the call limit facility isn't a guarantee- then why did I request for it if it wasn't this effective? I have made the R640 call limit based on my current affordability; I have been offered a raw real as the customer!
