On the 28th October I applied for an mtn contract with a Samsung galaxy tab 7" T211 from mtn online. The contract was approved on the 29th October. The device was delivered on the 4th of November and activated Day 1- the tab was not working and could not connect to the internet or email. I took it to the mtn store in festival mall they reset the sim and advised me to wait another 2-24 hours
Day 2- the tab was still not working and I called into mtn customer care who guided me through the settings and advised me that they reset the sim and I needed to wait another 2-24 hours
Day 5- I took the device to the mtn customer services centre in Allandale Midrand- the lady in the store called mtn and I was then advised that the device is not compatible with mtn's network and they were advised to stop selling that device. The lady made arrangements for the device to be picked up from me The tab was collected from me on the 13th November 2013
I was billed for the month even though i returned the device. I contacted MTN and was ensured that this would be rectified and i would be refunded. This was over a month ago and i have now been billed a second time for a device that was returned
