SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 FAULTY AFTER 2 WEEKS!

Electronics and household app.
I upgraded my contract on the 27th of May 2013 and chose the Samsung Galaxy S4. In the following week I noticed that there has been no network signal. I reset the phone and yet the issue persisted. I then took it to a local MTN store where the micro SIM was checked and a factory reset done. The issue still persisted. Eventually, on the 12th June 2013 I took the phone into the original MTN store. I was advised that I should take the device directly to a Samsung Smart Care Centre. At the SSCC I was told that the phone would be checked, a software upgrade done and I could collect the phone that same evening. When I arrived at the SSCC later that evening I was told that the mother-board needs to be replaced and that I should come and collect the next day. I was horrified at this as the phone is brand new without so much as a scratch. If the mother-board is being replaced it means that all that will be kept from the original device is the casing. Why not just replace the full device??? I called the Samsung customer care centre today and was told that they are waiting for the part which has been ordered and it will take another 2-3 working days. Please just replace the device!!!
