MTN dont want to Refund

I bought a car charger @ a MTN in HOUTBAAI! The next day we saw that the charger is not working and we went to MtN Kuils River to exchange it! The People at Kuils River were very help full but they did not have stock (Hout baai was out of stock to). We went home (George) and went to the Garden Route Mall MTN (the one at the Dischem) and they send us to the bigger MTN in the front of the mall! But the guy that helped us there told us that we must go back to Hout Baai toe exchange it because Hout Baai is only a Sattelite store and that they cant refund or exchange anything bought at a sattelite store! We are 500 km from Hout Baai! And we did try to exchange it but they did not had any stock! Please help! I payed for something that does not work!
