Unprofessional service from Vodacom store

I ungraded my Vodacom contract on Friday 13 Dec at the Vodacom shop in Middelburg Mall to a Smart M plan with a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The current promotions allowed me to choose a free gift. I took the car charger kit.
After opening the free gift at home I saw that that particular charger doesn't fit on the Note 3. This was never explained when I received the charger kit.

I went back to the shop and requested that they exchange the charger for a similar one which will fit the Note 3 or alternatively another free gift. The response which I received from the store manager is that it was impossible to exchange a free gift for anything and that I should take up any further queries with Vodacom. She gave me the 082111 number to follow up with them on my own.

The Vodacom consultants advise me that it is possible to exchange the free item and told me to go back and talk the the store manager.

The manager then reluctantly helped me to exchange the charger kit and only gave the hands free kit as an option.

This whole process was handled unprofessionally and disrespectful towards me as the client.

I am still waiting for response from Vodacom after I lodged a complaint.
