HILLARIUS POLICY

My fiancee bought me a pair of sneakers in EDGARS TZANEEN MALL on Thursday the 18 April, but when she got home i tried them on and found that they do not fit me.i packed them back in its box so that i can go and exchange them for a bigger size. On Monday the 22 April i took them to the store for exchange, but a guy named ALBERT who is one of the store management told me that they will not exchange for me as they have been worn.
I tried to tell him that i only tried them on but he said their policy restrict him to exchange for me as they will be second hand goods in their stock, i asked what should i do with them since they do not fit me but he kept denying exchanging for me
since their nonsense policy is restricting them to exchange for us why dont they restrict us to buy from them? or what is important is only when we are spending in their store?
Now i am sitting here with shoes that does not fit me because of what so called policy, this is pathetic
