My blackberry 9790 was handed in at above mentioned mtn shop due to a fault. the handset did not charge properly and would just shut down even if it had just been charged.
i was contacted to fetch the phone and was informed that the handset was replaced but that i had to replace the battery myself since the battery is only guaranteed for 6 months.
the charger of the handset was also handed in but was not handed back with the replacement handset.
i have two of the same handsets on contract which gives the same problems.
i feel that this is a problem created by the handset and that the battery must be replaced with the handset.
i left the handset at the shop and was requested to bring in a letter with my complains.
the staff made no attemt to assist me in this regard.
i have been a mtn customer for several years now and this is not the first time that i am struggling to get proper service.
