Christmas present not working

I waited 4 hours to collect a approved handset. Then I was assured all was working as it was a present for my daughter. Guess what a message on christmas day that the phone was not working because it was not rica. Phone call centre no sir 24h it will be working. Guess what not working call call centre sir you need to rica the phone. Why was it not done when I applied or with the documents provid or told to me that I still need to rica. Thankyou mtn for spoiling my daughters christmas
