Poor service leads to sim swap

I got a message this morning to go RICA my account with Vodacom as I cancelled my talk240 contract to change to pay as you go. So I go to RICA and after an hour of confusion (with many phone calls to customer service) it turns out the sim is already RICA'd and I didn't have to come to the store at all. So first off - thanks for wasting my time. On top of that I don't have any service and I was told there is a service failure and I must wait 3-6 hours for the phone to start working. Not acceptable. To pathetic service failures by a leading telecoms company. You'd swear that no on has ever cancelled a contract to go pay as you go before.

AS SOON as my phone starts working Im going to Cell-C to sim swap. Congrats - you deserve it.
