MTN has failed me as a consumer!!! I got robbed and my phone was taken on 06 Dec 2013. i went to report and claim the phone (0785358004) on 07 Dec at MTN Jabulani Mall in Soweto.the consultant made me fill in a 24HR mobility insurance form, only to find that they made me fill in the wrong form, when I called the 24HR Mobility call centre as i don't have a policy with them but with MTN SP. Today marks exactly 11 days (9 working days) and i still haven't heard anything, I then took it upon myself to find out why, i called MTN SP INSURANCE on 0831236084 the answering machine/voice gave me a few options that i followed and later said "we haven't received your claim", i then picked the option to go through to an agent, only to find that no one cares enough to pick up their phones, I held on for more than 30min waiting for an agent, I even tried to call the branch, but still they do not bother to pick up, I guess they were all told not to answer their phones!!! i didn't imagine that MTN is such a TERRIBLE service provider, today I downloaded the forms (with MTN LOGO) and emailed them. I am hoping to get my response in the 24hours, if not further steps will be taken! please assist!!
