My telephone line (017 647 2000) is out of order since yesterday. When I sms'ed, the feedback was an old reference of October 2013-since then this is the 4th time my telephone is out of order. I travelled to town to find a public phone. I waited 25minutes for someone to answer & 8minutes for the agent to argue with me & NOT reporting the problem (15 kms). We unplugged the telephone for the 2nd time & the problem does not go away! I sms'ed again and the feedback sms told me the fault has been logged, but I know it was NOT. I travelled again to town (7 kms) to find a public telephone. This time I waited 20 minutes for someone to answer. This time the agent COULD SEE there is a problem and logged the fault. Why did the first agent took extreme effort to argue with me and treating me as if I don't know what I am talking about? The second agent treated all the right way & served me. Ps: I know about customer care and technical departments, because I worked there many years ago. Treating a customer right has not changed in a million years; technical ways can change, but the basic principals remain. WHEN WILL TELKOM APPLY CUSTOMER CARE & CHANGE THERE ATTITUDES?
