MTN don't take my money

My contract expires this month on 2013-12-20.
I tried to arrange that my number migrate to "pay as you go" from the 21st but was informed that the instruction can only go through on the 20th.By that time it will be to late to stop the new month's billing.
In essence MTN want me to pay for an extra month for their incompetent system.
MTN, I did complete the migration form, the ball is in your court.
I have been to MTN twice to sort out this problem but have to resort to this forum to try and get justice.
