On the 14 November 2013, I received an sms informing that one of my lines had been successfully upgraded WITHOUT MY CONSENT. To address this I got in touch with the MTN call centre and they informed that the only way that the department can investigate the matter was if I sent them a certified copy of my ID and Affidavit. I sent them these documents on 18 November 2013 and insisted that I receive detailed feedback on the matter. Later on that week, I received a call from a lady in the department informing me that the upgrade had been cancelled. However after insisting on knowing what MTN was doing to make sure that this didn't happen again, she couldn't give me a satisfactory answer.

Barely 2 weeks later, 28 November 2013, I received another sms informing stating that one of my other lines had been successfully upgraded WITHOUT MY CONSENT. Incidentally (on the same day) the lady from the department called me to request a more recent certified copy of my ID and I informed her of the that took place on my other line. She expressed shock and informed that she address the matter. Its a week later an no one has contacted me yet.
