I went into Potchefstroom Vodashop where I wanted to upgrade my data account, they informed me that I have already upgraded during November. They told me apparently I upgraded through internet or call centre and that the upgrade was done by Billy... This happened on 20th november. As I was in vodacom I phoned the call centre informing them that I did not upgrade, they advised me that the consultant at the shop should log the problem and that I should go to the police station make an affidavit and send it to them. I did all of this, also again I phoned this week logging the problem again. I wanted to find out why is it that on this number, my data usage is very high and that it is impossible, is it because I have (upgraded, which I did not do) they could not tell me only that I should wait for the forensic department. I've not heard from vodacom yet. I am now responsible for this account until sorted out??? How can this happen, the police told me that from last week they received numerous complaints of exactly same situation that happened to me, how can anyone upgrade on my name, how is the security at vodacom, and is this an employee who is responsible? I want feedback.
