I have an MTN contract for a wifi router of R499 pm and use it for my business from home and for the last 2 and a half months have not been able to use my router due to 'poor signal or faulty device'. I logged the complaint in October and several weeks later only heard a response that they received the complaint. More weeks went by, now in Nov I hear from someone that they are coming to install an antenna for me, but only 2 weeks after the call. They then come and install and assure they won't leave before there is a working connection. They install a monstrosity of an antenna to my home with drillnig and wiring and still not working. They say its the sim thats faulty. I go to the nearest Mtn store and got a new sim after much fighting as they wanted to charge me at first. And I get home and the new sim still does not work in the device. The device is portable and doesn't pick up a connection anywhere, not even in a good 3G area. I called again to complain that it was not working and the lady on the line said she doesnt know how long it will take for someone to get back to me. I want a full refund of the 2 and a half months I have waisted. I have had shocking service from day 1.
