Failure to cancel contract after 30 days notice

I have been a stuck in a 24 month contract with 8ta for the last 24 months, but the service has never performed as advertised. 8ta did not want to let me out of my contract. At the end of month 23 on 28 October I went to the Telkom Direct store in Woodlands Boulevard to cancel my contract giving 30 days notice.

On 28 November after the contract should have been cancelled, I escalated the issue. This morning I found out that both these calls have been closed without contacting me, doing anything or even logging a comment.

I have also sent various emails to the cancellations department [Email Removed] and the manager of the Woodlands Boulevard store without any response.

Every time I try to escalate the issue I get told someone will contact me within 3 days, but that never happens. I bet these people will not feel that 3 days is an acceptable waiting time if they don't get paid and the HR department tells them they will contact them in 3 days time.

What does a person need to do to get some customer service from this company?
