My service was suspended, due to late payment, my fault.
I phoned 26th of November to find out what I need to pay in order to have my service reactivated.
27th I paid R2300. I called in immediately with my transaction reference.
28th I called to ask when it would be activated and told that it would be 24-48 hours
29th I called and asked why not yet activated and told that it would be during the day.
30th I called and was told by person #1 that the account was cancelled on the 28th. A new order needs to be placed. Person #2 said the account was NOT cancelled, only suspended. They have received payment and will activate, and I RECEIVED REFERENCE! 3-5 calls later to follow up, person #3952468 told me it was just activated and I must check my line in 15min. Conveniently this was told to me at 12:50 and the call centre closes at 13:00.
1st December (Sunday) Telkom closed, no call centre to assist!
2nd December, GUESS WHAT!! No activation!!! Person #348242 said accounts has not even been updated the F#&CKN payment.. NOW, line needs to be re-ordered, re-installed and will take 7 working days.
Why are they so freekin slack!! Any other provider other than -for-service TELKOM!!?
