I have an account with 8ta, my account was placed on a suspended state after skipping a single monthly payment (R500), because Telkom charged the Migration fee over (R400) in error, as there was no migration fee required for upgrade. R900 was above my budget for the month and the debit order bounced.
The outstanding amount (R1515) was settled on 20th of November 2013, proof of payment was also forwarded as requested by Telkom Mobile to unlock my number/ account.
On the 26th November 2013 I phoned Telkom, never got any response, I went to the Telkom Direct store- they couldn't resolve my problem but told me to contact the accounts department. The accounts department requested another proof of payment which was send. Today I have send a follow up email, got no respond from the person in charge after he promised that once all info is send - my account will be activated immediately - I'm getting no respond from Telkom and I need to do the sim swipe because the card is damage but I can't. I need this issue resolved on my number: 0814247512. The first debit order bounced because Telkom charged migration fee, while there is no migration fee required for upgrade.
