I was contacted on Friday 28th by a very friendly lady to ask if it was okay to activate my Telkom Mobile data contract (sim). I told her it was okay and went through the process. It all went downhill from there...
By Sunday it still had not been activated so I called Telkom Mobile on Sunday to find out if the sim had been activated, only to be told that they didn't have the sim on their system and that i must call SellDirect as something is wrong on there side.
I called them on Monday to find out what was going on and was told that someone would call me back. Nobody called me back, so i called them. I was told by one of the consultants that he is not technical and he had asked one of the technical guys to speak to me (who refused). In short there was a problem with the activation system and was told to call back each day to check progress.
I have tried to call multiple times over the last 2 days but either nobody answers or calls get picked up and dropped.
This is pathetic and will be reporting this issue to Telkom Mobile as well.
