Over the last few days our Internet has deteriorated to the point where is is utterly unusable. My latency in Battlefield 4 on SA servers range in the excess of 300 ms. Steam downloads start at 100 kb/s and after a while completely cease. I have to make myself a cup of coffee while waiting for web pages and images to load. My only explanation for these events is that we are being throttled. Badly. We have a 2 mb uncapped line which promises a maximum usage of 300 GB. This is a reasonable amount which I have no problem with. What I do have a problem with however is that I get throttled after using a LESS THAN A FIFTH of that. Come on. Don't advertise 300 GB if you are going to cut my Internet off (which is basically happening) after using only 40GB. Earlier today we spoke to a guy from Cybersmart for the second time this month who 'fixed' our line by reboot their router or something on their end. This lasted maybe a few hours. Now the problems have returned and I am sitting here sulking here once again. Come on guys. This really.
