Unable to cancel my accounts

I have been desperately trying to cancel some of my accounts with Telkom.

On friday the 22nd of November I tried to call the call centre on 10210. It took ages to get through to a consultant and while I was speaking the call disconnected. I tried to call back but it took too long to get through. I don't have time to sit on the phone for more than an hour during work.

On Sunday the 24th of November I drove through to Canal Walk's Telkom Direct store to cancell my accounts. Of course its impossible to stop a service at Telkom, that would make it too easy. They told me to call the call centre. Great!

Today is the 25th. Since that is the start of the billing period, all my accounts have now renewed. That means that I am going to be liable for another R7000 for services I don't need.

I also tried today to call the call centre but after waiting for almost 45 minutes I gave up. This is just ridiculous. What kind of company expects people to sit on a phone line that long during work. It's really evil that they make it so difficult for a person to stop their services.

Please help me Telkom!
