Refused exchange of faulty device

On 03oct2013, I upgraded my mtn contract, with a SamsungGalaxyS4LTE. I've had it for jus ovr a month and it's bn gvn me problems from d 3rd week after takin possession. Below is a list of faults:
keeps dropping data signal every few minutes, irrespective of my location, cant receive calls at most times evn when signal is full, heats up, Battery swollen, switches off when attempting to use any application, including the embedded android applications. After switching off (even with full battery life), it cant switch on unless I plug it into charger, at which time it would show full battery, Call quality is v poor, irrespective of location.
this device is unreliable, and I requested to get a replacement. Mngr said that I dont understand CPA well enough and im not entitled to a replacement, Samsung will decide what to do. HELLO MTN!!! i bawt d fone from YOU, NOT SAMSUNG! IM ENTITLED TO A REPLACEMENT!!! Well, i was since forced to book the device in, as per manager they wont help me unless i book it in, and they are not obliged to replace device in accordance with CPA. So MTN, is this ur policy? when a device is faulty, and noticable as the battery is literally growing in my pokt?
