Passing the Buck Vodacom

I recently bought a Sony Xperia Z as an upgrade phone, the phone claims to be shatterproof, water resistant and dust resistant. This phone wasn't even 4 months old and it cracked in my pocket, I didn't't bump anything. I did some research and this phone has an apparent design fault. Because the phone is so thin just the slightest deviation can twist the body of the phone and cause it to crack. With the Sony being waterproof there is even more pressure as it is a sealed unit under stress. Being a customer of Vodacom for over 10 years now you would think that they will assist you in any way possible. They should be the one communicating with the suppliers and they should be fighting for us, but instead they just pass the buck and say that its cracked due to negligence after I told them what happened.

Very very very disappointed with Vodacom.
