3 weeks and still NO CELL NUMBER!!!

COMPLAINT! [#7211657]

I have been sent from pillar to post and still no success. I have tried to contact retentions department on numerous occasions, but have not received any feedback from them. Kagiso Kekana has not even responded to my requests to keep me updated. Is this the kind of service MTN now provides to it's customers. I have been with MTN for more than 4 years already, but never have I received service of this dismay. All I requested was for my contract to be cancelled as it reached the end of the term, MTN should have advised me that the number gets cancelled as well before cancelling the contract and number!
If I was informed correctly, I would have known better and asked for my number to be migrated to prepaid.
So I then queried this, as I still wanted my number, and then after numerous failed attempts to get proper assistance from the call centre - 083 1 808, finally they put me through to activations - 083 123 9622,
Who then advised me that they could not assist either! i had to buy another sim card for R130 and do a sim swap, but they still did not give me my original number, now i received a bill that i need to pay, for R359.40.
PATHETIC SERVICE!
