MTN worst service provider ever!!!

Over a month ago, my husband requested his contract number be reverted to prepaid as the contract term wass up. Mtn did not understand his request and cancelled his number completely (off the network). It has been a major effort to try and resolve the issue and when they finally back on prepaid, they advise him to buy a sim card, RICA it and then do a sim swap to get his number back. He has purchased 3 sim cards thus far and neither the mtn store in trade route mall or the call centre has been able to assist to resolve the matter. They both pass the buck to one another and now he has been without his number for 6 weeks! I find this service utterly disgusting. He just wants his old number back! How difficult can it be??? It was mtns fault in the first place for cancelling the number, now he must run from pillar to post to get it sorted. I want someone to contact me and this matter be resolved TODAY!!!
