My contract expired at the beginning of January 2013. At the beginning of December 2012, I called the contact centre and advised them that I would not like to renew my contract but I want to retain my cell number. I was advised to forward an email and request for a migration from Postpaid (Contract) to Prepaid. I sent an email shortly after the call. My contract was subsequently cancelled and my number has been deleted from the system. I had visited the Customer Service centre almost 2 weeks ago. I was assisted first by Mbali and then by (I think), her supervisor (Kennedy). I completed forms and was told by Kennedy that the matter would be rectified. I left my cell number with them for a follow up. A week later (22 Jan) and I didn't hear anything. I again called the contact centre (Prepaid) and was told that my number is not a Prepaid number and I was transferred to the Contracts dept. Contracts dept said I must speak to Billing, Billing said Activations, activations transferred me to High Volume repair centre. I cut the call after 16 minutes and after speaking to 6 different agents/consultants.. My complaint has still not been resolved.
