3 month ago I signed up for the TELKOM Simple 3 package deal @ R399 per month all inclusive. At the end of the first month I did not receive an account. At the end of the second month I received an account for slightly less than 2 months, but was overcharged. TELKOM refused to rectify or even discuss the issue so I cancelled giving 30 days notice.

At the end of the third month I was billed R680 instead of R399 and there were no additional costs as I do not even own a handset nor were there telephone charges on the bill. I reported this billing incident as well, but have not received any feedback.

On Saturday the 30 days cancellation period came to an end, but now my new ADSL line provider cannot take over the line, because TELKOM messed up the cancellation.

The TELKOM Direct stores are useless as the staff have no access to systems to investigate or solve issues. The best they can do is tell you to call 10210, but last time I called that number, I was put on hold for 19 minutes while the most irritating recording ever was played over and over and over again.

What is a person to do to get some customer service???
