I gave Telkom notice to cancel my ADSL Internet in September '13 as I wanted to move to a different ISP, I was supposed to wait 30 days which I did. On the 1st of October a consultant contacted me to try and salvage the business and offered me a 25% discount. I ended up staying with Telkom. She promised me that my bill would not exceed R680 per month. At the end of October I was very surprised when I received my statement and noticed that Telkom had billed me R956 in stead of R680.

This is totally unacceptable and this needs to be corrected as I have entered into a 12 months agreement that I will stay with Telkom if they give me the 25% discount. I will only pay R680 before the due date and nothing more.

Please contact Telkom and ask them what is happening on my account.
