On the 24th of October I purchased 2gb internet bundle which was on a promotion where you get an additional 1 GB for free. MTN consultant told me about the 2 to 24 hours turnaround time for the data to be loaded. But within 10 minutes of purchasing I received an sms from MTN confirming my purchase and my 1 GB free on the promotion. after that I check my data bundle balance with the voice prompt (808) and the self-services *141# which both indicated my data bundles are available for use. immediately after checking I started downloading trying to maximises the 1 GB promotion which was available for 7days. after downloading I still check my data and the balance was still 3gb. so I still proceeded with downloading and I use an S4 and each application on my phone uses data.. even after proceeding with downloading the data balance was still 3gb.by the end of the day I received an sms from MTN indicating that I have exceeded my limit and my phone is suspended. So I then called MTN who informed that I have used -R3700 of data which was a shock. I log a billing query which was only resolved on the 18th November. If MTN did a thorough investigation the excess internet use was within the day
