Promo data on a "Glitch"

My vodacom top up contract loads on the first of every month and I usually use of my airtime to buy data bundles on the *111# number; this month I bought the Promo data bundle MyMeg 1G for R149 - I usually only use about 700-800MB per month; the next day I receive a message saying that I have less than 3MB left and the next moment I receive a msg saying I have no data left - so I dial *111# to check my balances - and I have no airtime left, and no data!!! So I add R275 airtime on my top up and buy another R149 1G data bundle. Me and my fiance go through all my phones settings to make sure that i'm not downloading stuff that i'm not aware off; after everything is checked, within minutes I get another msg saying that I have less that 3MB left and seconds later another msg saying My data bundle has been depleted!! In a panic i dial *111# to check my balance - and the R275 i gone!!! So I phone vodacom and tell them the story - their response "o the promo data doesn't seem to work for the vodacom customers - its a bit of a glitch in our system" - thanks vodacom your "glitch" has cost me over R700!!! If the promo data doesn't work for vodacom customers - it shouldn't even be an option!
