Suspect Battery was tampered with by Technician

Telecommunications

Sent in a fully charged iPhone 5 for high data consumption fault. All that was done (according to the repair report) was a software upgrade. When collecting the iPhone 5, the battery was completely drained (could not restart the phone). The person working at the teller told me that they don't charge the phones and that I should test the phone at home.

After over 24 hours charging the phone, the battery is only 25% charged. I suspect foul play here. iPhone batteries on new phone should not run below 60% for the first couple of charges (As stipulated by the manufacturer's guidelines). Why was the phone fully drained when I went to collect it. I suspect that the battery was swapped by the Technician and I demand an investigation and action to be taken.

In the mean time, I am still with an iPhone that basically has not been utilised for the last two months while I am sorting this pathetic service and negligence from Vodacom.

What must I do now??? Travel all the way back to Midrand and hand in the phone again for further abuse? What is Vodacom going to do to resolve this pathetic service once and for all.
