On 13.11.2013 I purchased a Samsung S3 mini from Vodacom's online shop and paid with my credit card. Within minutes I received notification that the payment has been deducted from my account. I checked my purchase history and my purchase is reflected (E1281039). I contacted numbers 08217844, 0821950, 0821945, 082114, 111 as well as online chat. Each and every time I am told that the consultant only deals with contracts/upgrades. For the last 48hrs I have been back and forth speaking to different people. Finally after 5 yesterday a service request was logged. Today I chatted with someone on online chat to find out the progress where I was told that the turn around time is 48 hrs meaning that I will only receive feedback on Monday. In my opinion this is unacceptable. Why does it seem that my purchase has disappeared into thin air? Why cant anyone find record of my purchase? Why are the consultants unable to direct me to the correct department/person. Being a loyal customer of Vodacom for over 10yrs and always had good service, I find the current service unacceptable and frustrating. If I had gone to a Vodashop I would have my device by now.
