I reported my Telkom line defective on Sunday 10 Nov 2013 to the call centre number 10210. I specifically asked the call centre agent to book a technician from Tuesday 12 Nov 2013. On Monday morning 10:30, I get a call from the Technician wanting to know when any body will be at home. I told him after 17:00 only.
I have called three times this week to establish how far my reported problem was to solving. Today 15 Nov 2013 again I called to enquire of the progress. The service agent told me that no technicians work on a weekend. I wonder what all the Telkom Vans do on weekends when you pass them gathered around a manhole on the corner of some streets.
Then they have the audacity to send me a sms and ask me to rate my interaction with the service agent. PATHETIC! My ADSL and Telephone line are still not working. I cannot do any business or receive any e-mails over the internet or make use of their o so wonder full talk free after 19:00 in the evening.
This is a lack of customer service if they cannot make a proper appointment, what do they think, do I hang around my home until they decide to attend to the problem. I do not think so.
