After having taken out my first cellphone contract (anytime 100 - R319/m), i was never made aware of how the 'pro rata' works or what it even is. I opened by contract on the 24th Oct. I reached my credit limit very quickly and was consequently unable to make calls, use data or sms, im not even able to dial *141#. I first assumed that my data had been used so i would be fine if i uploaded more. I asked for 500mb, yet they never informed me that i will not be able to use it. Further confusion between consultants occurred as the one thought the 500mb would omit the 300mb i get with my package.

Currently ive had my phone a bit longer than n week. Ive only been able to use it for about 2 days, where the rest of the time i cannot do anything with it. I still have to wait to the 14th Nov before i receive my new airtime, data, etc.

Im a full time honours student, working 3 jobs, with my mother going in and out of hospital in johannesburg whist im in Bloemfontein. I need my phone to work!

I cannot phone one of my clients now for my payment which means i will probably have a bad spot on my credit record!

Please look into it!

PS: Call centres hang up the phones while i talk to them
